Japanese Cedar (Sugi) Clear Grade 5/4 Inch Decking
Clear grade Japanese Cedar (Sugi) 5/4-inch boards bring the same extra thickness and stiffness as our standard Sugi decking, with an essentially knot-free, straight-grained face for benches, seating, and trim that needs to look as good as it performs.

Clear grade means essentially no knots at all — a smooth, uniform, straight-grained appearance. It costs more than our standard Sugi grade because far less of each log qualifies. Don't need a fully knot-free face? Our standard Sugi 5/4-inch decking has the same stiffness and durability at a friendlier price. Available in 5" and 6" widths, 8, 10 & 12 feet.
