Japanese Cedar (Sugi) 1x8 Channel Siding
The classic channel profile in light, fine-grained Japanese Cedar (Sugi). Overlapping rabbeted edges leave a clean, recessed shadow line between every board, covering walls fast without the bulk of bevel siding. $1.75 per linear foot. 8, 10 and 12 feet.
Best for
- Exterior siding on homes, cabins and additions
- Garages, sheds and outbuildings
- Soffits and porch ceilings
- Interior feature walls
Install horizontally for a traditional look or vertically for a modern board-style finish. Sugi takes stain and oil evenly; for exterior walls, a penetrating oil or stain will extend its life considerably.
