Western Red Cedar 5/4 Inch Plank
The classic decking thickness. 5/4 Western Red Cedar gives you noticeably more stiffness underfoot than 1-inch boards without the weight and cost of full 2-inch stock, which is why it's the standard for deck surfaces across BC.
Best for
- Deck boards and stair treads
- Hot tub surrounds
- Benches and seat tops
- Wide shelving and counters
Available in widths from 5/4x4 to 5/4x12 and lengths up to 20 feet, so long runs can be laid with fewer butt joints. Naturally rot- and insect-resistant, cool underfoot, and splinter-friendly for bare feet compared to pressure-treated decking.
